A recent study has found a strong link between exposure to pesticides and the development of Parkinson's, a chronic degenerative disease of the central nervous system. This particular study looked at two specific pesticides and found that they increased the incidence of this debilitating disease by 75%. All in all, more reason to eat organic foods. In fact, this is even more important for children and young adults, as the people in this study were exposed to these pesticides at a much younger age, but only developed Parkinson's after the age of 60.
